I was in the copywriting program for five quarters before switching over to strategy.
Working on the creative side helped me become a better strategist because it gave me an inside look at how creatives ideate and communicate. By first understanding what they need, I learned how to better write stories that inspire. A wise man also once told me, “In the end, the strategy is the big idea, and it takes idea people to develop one."
